Body Lotion
A few days ago I noticed that the skin on my husband’s back was appearing really dry so I offered to apply some of my favorite body lotion to help get rid of the dry skin. I could tell that he was happy that I offered, but the first thing he asked was if the body lotion smelled like girls, or if it was something that everyone could use. He said he would love to be rid of the dry skin, but not if it was going to mean that the guys at work were going to ask him if he’d been wearing his wife’s perfume. I couldn’t help but laugh at him, but I went to the bathroom, grabbed the body lotion and brought it back for him to smell. I explained to him that it was the same stuff that he used on his legs when they started drying out this past winter and that it was the same body lotion that I’d been ordering online because I’d found it for a great price. Once he could have a whiff and realized that I wasn’t putting any girly fragrances on his back, he was all for it. He actually seemed to enjoy me applying the body lotion, and something tells me that he’ll come home from work today and ask if I have time to apply it again.
