mens cologne

Each year for Valentine's Day, I try to do something special for the men in my life. No, I don't have a trail of boyfriends in every town, but I do have a wonderful husband, son and dad who I like to show just how much they mean to me. Each year I try to come up with something new to give them, and this year I've decided to make them a gift basket with mens cologne and a few other things. This past year, my son has started borrowing his dad’s mens cologne, and made reference several time to how much he'd like to have a bottle of mens cologne of his very own. He's only 12, but he's at the age when he's starting to notice girls and things like mens cologne has started to become important to him. He wants to shave too, but his dad has suggested that he wait until he actually needs to shave before he starts doing it.

I plan on making various cookies and candies and including them in the gift basket for my favorite guys, but I thought the mens cologne would be a nice touch and it would thrill my son to see that he has his own personal bottle of mens cologne to start using. I do think I'll have to get my husband to talk to him about using it in moderation, because I know how easy it is to overdo on that sort of thing, especially if you're using mens cologne to try to impress a girl. I ordered Dakar by Parfums Paris Dakar Men that I found at Beauties R Us whose online store can be found by visiting www.beautiesrus.com which happens to be both my dad’s and my husband’s favorite mens cologne. I guess you could say that it's also my son’s favorite since it's the only mens cologne that he's ever used.

I still have a few weeks to come up with a few other ideas to fill their baskets, and I think I may add a video game to my son’s basket and possibly some fishing lures to my dad’s. It won't be too much longer and the weather will start warming up and I know dad will be ready to do some fishing. One thing is for sure, I'm looking forward to seeing the look on their faces when they open their gift baskets, and my son sees that I've given him his first bottle of mens cologne.
