hair careI have very thick, wavy hair. My hair is often slightly dry at the ends despite the fact that I have regular trims. That is why I have to pay particular attention to hair care. For me hair care is not just about trimming, shampooing and conditioning. I have to use hair care products such as protective leave-in creams or serums that keep my hair conditioned between washes. I use these products to keep my hair shiny and manageable. I also find that such hair care products help me to avoid split ends to some extent, though there is no real substitute for a good trim. I usually buy high end protective hair care products because I have found that they work more effectively than the kind of merchandise that can be purchased from drug stores. However I shop online so I get my hair care products for a little less than I would have to pay if I bought them from the salon where I have my hair cut and highlighted. All in all I think that the attention I pay to my hair care is worth it because it saves me time and stops me getting frustrated since it makes my locks easier to manage.
