body lotionI think it fair to say that body lotion is the beauty product I use most often. There are a few reasons why I am so rigorous in my use of body lotion. For instance one of the things that motivates me to use body lotion each and every day is that I hate the way dry skin feels. If I am not careful I will end up with dry skin on my lower legs during the winter months from daily shaving. That is why I apply body lotion to my lower legs after every shower. I also apply body lotion to my feet, hands, knees and elbows, which can also become dry if I neglect to moisturize them.
Another reason that I am so fastidious about using body lotion is that I consider my skin to be one of my best assets. I have received lots of compliments about how soft my skin is over the years. My mother even calls me a ‘silky peach.’ I think it prudent to take care of our best physical traits so that they remain beautiful in the future too. When I am older I do not want to talk wistfully about how I used to have soft skin.
