Nevertheless if your fragrance perfume or men's cologne does not last you longer than a month or two then you are probably putting too much on. The trick with perfumes and colognes is to put just a small amount on your pulse points so that people who come within three feet of you can smell it. You should never put on so much fragrance perfume that you force every person in the same room as you to smell it. Your perfume or cologne should ideally be subtle and discreet. The idea is for those who come close enough to realize you smell wonderful. Wearing a fragrance that smells overpowering makes you seem obnoxious and self-absorbed.
